This “Images of Fatherhood” summary highlights results from the Dutch research report ‘Visies op vaderschap’ – research conducted by Rutgers in partnership with Equimundo, as a part of MenCare, a global fatherhood campaign. The report summarizes a study carried out through an online survey among a representative group of Dutch fathers with children aged 0–13. Most questions were taken from the questionnaire of The International Men and Gender Equality Survey (IMAGES). The survey aims to obtain better insight into increasing fathers’ active involvement in caregiving by assessing personal, environmental, and relational elements in regard to the role of fathers in domestic and care work.
