The content targeted to boys online is not the same content targeted to adults. As a result, the messages boys are exposed to are often misunderstood and underestimated by educators, parents, and mentors. Through the LinkUp Lab, with our partners Amaze and Futures Without Violence, we developed youth-focused videos and educational materials to strengthen media literacy for boys and support the adults in their lives on topics including:
  • Body image and online exposure (looksmaxxing)
  • Video games and emotional regulation
  • Loneliness
  • Dating in a digital age
  • Deepfakes

Each video includes a resource guide to help adults and youth talk openly about real issues young people face online, like social pressure, mental health, identity, relationships, and harmful trends.
