Welcome to Equimundo’s Approach to Programs Course

This course combines entry and intermediate level information that will help you design, implement, and evaluate programs which effectively engage men and boys to support gender equality and healthier versions of masculinity.

By the end of this course, you should feel prepared to take tangible steps and begin a pilot implementation of a program engaging men and boys. The course contains practical tools which can be used easily and quickly, and real-world examples from Equimundo and our partner organizations.

The course is open to anyone, but will be particularly valuable for:

• NGO and non-profit staff working, or thinking about working  with men and boys, whether as a standalone project or incorporated into existing work;
• Community workers, trainers, youth-serving and public health professionals, and educators who want to connect more effectively with men and boys in their work;
• Government officials and funders who want to deepen their understanding of effective ways to engage men and boys.

This course is free, open-source and shareable with your friends and colleagues.

You can complete the modules in sequence or move around based on your needs and interests. There is an optional workbook that you can download and use to help complete activities and deepen your understanding, and each module has a short podcast-style summary that you can save and refer back to later.
