Healthier Together is returning for a second branded content series, presented by the WHO Foundation and produced for them by BBC StoryWorks Commercial Productions. Set against the backdrop of the race to meet global health targets, this series highlights initiatives and projects working to make us healthier together.
Across three key chapters, the series looks at the worldwide collaborations and the impact they are having on people’s health. Over the course of 19 branded content films and 4 branded content articles produced for diverse organisations – from global manufacturers to local charitable foundations – the series looks at the stories of those working to make a difference to the health of those around them. These stories focus on the ways in which health burdens can be reduced, access to healthcare can be expanded, and greater resilience being built in health systems.
Healthier Together takes viewers on an uplifting journey of hope, creativity and collaboration, as seen through the eyes of communities across the world. From bridging the divides left by stigma and misconceptions, to the nature retreats bringing families affected by cancer closer together, Healthier Together breathes life into concepts such as “Health for All” by painting a powerful picture of what that can look like.
The series is presented by the WHO Foundation, an independent philanthropic foundation setup by the World Health Organization to support its mission in providing everyone, everywhere, a healthier future. Through sharing these incredible stories, Healthier Together continues to lift up the inspiring stories of collaboration and the impact that is possible when people come together.
Anil Soni, chief executive officer at the WHO Foundation, said: “Building a healthier world is a shared mission which the WHO Foundation embraces. These short branded films are both an inspiration and an insight into how companies, foundations and individuals are working together to achieve this goal.”
The new series, Healthier Together, will launch on 24 February 2025. Audiences will be able to explore “Healthier Together” via www.healthiertogetherseries.com
