MenCare Changemaker Journey

MenCare Changemaker Journey is Equimundo’s bold initiative in innovative advocacy – mobilizing influential leaders worldwide to co-ideate interdisciplinary solutions to urgent challenges: from democracy and civic engagement to men’s health, boys’ education, and the design and financing of better care policies. The initiative works across diverse settings – cities and regions, workplaces, and the digital world. Over two years, 100 thought leaders from media, philanthropy, the corporate sector, and civil society will travel the globe – from Reykjavik to Rio de Janeiro to Melbourne – on a quest to share, learn, and co-create with us. The time for action is now.

At the heart of the Journey are seven Action Groups, the backbone of the initiative. These groups are dynamic spaces for reflection and action, where changemakers will connect across disciplines to drive cultural, structural, and policy shifts that make caring manhood the new normal.

Each Action Group tackles a critical frontier of change:

• Boys and Education – shaping caring, connected boyhoods.
• Men’s Health and Allyship – advancing healthier lives and systems of care.
• Democracy & Civic Engagement – strengthening societies through care-driven participation.
• Caring Online Spaces – transforming digital cultures with empathy and inclusion.
• Workplaces of Care – embedding care in organizational culture and policy.
• Cities and Regions of Care – reimagining urban and regional governance through care.
• Care Policies – securing the reforms and financing to value and share care fairly.

Together, the Changemakers will build lasting solutions – culminating at the Global Summit in Rio de Janeiro in 2026. Stay tuned for the official launch!
