Since the beginning of the 21st century, the book argues, people have become increasingly disconnected from themselves, each other, and the world around them. Edited by Niobe Way,\u00a0The Crisis of Connection<\/a><\/em> examines inequalities and the science of human connection before presenting a path to a more just and humane world.<\/p>\n

The book has been featured in\u00a0Le New York Times<\/a>,\u00a0The Seattle Times<\/a>, et le\u00a0Marin Independent Journal<\/a>. Equimundo President and CEO Gary Barker authored the chapter titled, \u201cLetting Men Care: Supporting Engaged Fatherhood to Radically Disrupt the Gender Binary<\/em>.\u201d He advocates for changing norms and institutions to encourage men\u2019s caregiving and advance gender equality, noting:<\/p>\n
